HOTB is the solo project of Stefano Cerulo (Italy, 1988). The journey began in 2002 as a guitarist in a metal band, evolving into thrash/death metal sounds with razor-sharp riffs and brutal energy. After a break from live bands, the discovery of 1980s electronic music marks a turning point: pulsating rhythms and hypnotic synths open the door to a fascinating sonic universe.
With a friend, the synthwave project Nitelight is born (2013–2022), featuring 2 EPs and 6 albums brimming with retro-futuristic atmospheres. Standout is the full remix of Death's Symbolic, featured by Metal Injection and the band's official profile, proving how a bridge between genres can achieve global resonance.
Creative divergences lead to Halls of the Blind in 2024, an evolution toward aggressive and ethereal darksynth, with intense basslines, dystopian melodies, and a cyberpunk essence that guides listeners through emotional ruins and elusive truths.
From the chaos of extreme metal to the dark mists of wave.
