Founded in 2009. Hip to Death have kept the fire burning over the last decade. They released their first LP Live in a Dive at 529 Club in 2010. It was a live album at 529 released by Die Indy. Their first studio LP titled Punk Will Never Die But You Will, was released in 2011. Releases following were the Post Death EP (2015) on Die Indy and a cassette tape split with Oakland California NIGHT SHAPES released by Wiener Records of Fullerton, California in 2016. After many lineup changes Hip to Death is presently a four-piece with a new Album under their belts titled TMI America. The Album was recorded by Hip to Death and mixed / mastered by Tom Ashton . HTD has shared the stage with many fine bands over the years including The Warlocks, ACTORS, Ed Schraders Music Beat, Secret Shame, Dasher, GG King, The NEC, Entertainment, G Green, Liverhearts, Glen Iris, Twin Trances, Cheap Art, Predator, Rosegarden Funeral Party, etc. 2023 will bring a new Album.
