H.J. Earl comes from Arizona and began playing the piano at 6 years old. He spent the next 18 years writing and preforming songs for his family and friends. Learning new instruments along the way and some basic scales helped guide him to develop the foundation for each of his songs. He relies heavily on his ear and how he feels when he plays an instrument. He is not able to read sheet music and spends a lot of his time improvising. He says “Playing and recording music has always been an escape for me. I am able to fully express what I think and how I feel when I play. I love it and I hope who ever listens can feel that passion.”
