IDDQD was founded in 2011 as a collaborative music project in Istanbul, Turkey by Iranian multi-instrumentalist/producer, Arya Afshar. Arya relocated to Canada in 2018, where he is currently working as a film composer and sound designer, and continues to collaborate online with musicians globally. IDDQD released a number of singles from 2011 to 2016, before releasing its debut album 'Last Year on Earth' in 2017. They released their second album 'Mutations' in 2020! The style has changed over the years, but can be defined as Alternative/Psychedelic Rock with Eastern Influences.
