IVANOÉ is a French 19-year-old multi-instrumentalist. Born in the heart of the Jura mountains, he grew up in a small village where he was making music alone, and working on his harmonic signature. In high school, he expanded his sonic culture, discovered Radiohead and Daniel Rossen, and formed the alternative rock band called “Wheobe” with three friends in 2018. He centered his musical activities around this project, in which he is the guitarist and noisemaker.
His fear of turning 20 forced him to promise himself to release a self-titled album before his second decade. He is currently recording “EXODE”, his first album, which will be released on November 10, 2023. Inspired by the Jura and the nature that surrounds him, IVANOÉ composes, arranges and mixes himself in his bedroom. Passionate about wonderful sounds and looking for complex textures, he works for hours to paint a soundscape that corresponds to his texts and his environment.
