Who says heavy music has to have a negative vibe? Southern California based nu-metal group In Submission brings hard hitting guitar riffs, pumping bass lines, pounding drums and aggressive vocals in front of melodies that resonate it’s uplifting faith based lyrics to bring about positive music. Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Ben De Silva says that he was inspired by a wide variety of musical influences ranging from P.O.D to the Deftones to Rage Against the Machine to Grits that helped shape the band’s rock/hip-hop sound along with his faith in Jesus Christ that fueled the band’s faith-based lyrics and positive tone. Ben says that he is excited to share not only positive music in the world but wants to bring back the nu-metal sound and keep cranking out songs that are absolute bangers!
