His smooth delivery, catchy choruses and powerful messages give his music a playful but still mature conscious feel.
At an early age uTeespa had a deep love and passion for music. Growing up he was heavily influenced by kwaito, hip hop, reggae and rnb. His debut EP God Love & the Ghetto was released in 2021 featuring his hit single and fan favorite titled "ixesha".
With 90% of his singing and rapping done in his home language of isiXhosa. This gives his sound a more sophisticated, still romantic and cultured taste.
