Tres Carter put music down in 2015 to pursue new interests. He finished cosmetology school, opened a salon, quit his 9-5, and 2 years later, became an educator and ambassador for some of the biggest brands in the hair care industry – including BaByliss Pro. Just as the ascension began, so did COVID-19. Hair shows were canceled for the summer, and the government closed the door of every salon with only 36 hours notice. What does he do? He pivots, steps behind the microphone again and goes to work.
