Isaiah Huerta is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He blends aggressive punk energy with classical grandeur. His music explores the meaning of life and death, creating dense soundscapes unlike anything else in modern music.
Isaiah’s unique sound was inspired by his upbringing in the notoriously wild town of Ogden, Utah. Raised in a strict religious family, punk rock opened his eyes to the greater world around him, inspiring him to think for himself and to start putting his feelings to music. He would eventually drop out of high school and join the military, where he learned Hebrew and became a translator. All the while, music was never far from his mind, as he absorbed the exotic sounds around him and stored them away for later use.
Returning to civilian life, Isaiah began his higher education and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and philosophy. After graduating, he began bringing his musical vision to life with his first recordings as The Death Throes.
