Ismael Parra is a Venezuelan violinist, holding a Specialized Master's Degree in Violin from the Royal Conservatory of Mons (Belgium). With experience in the Caracas Capitol Orchestra, he toured Europe and South America. As a soloist, he performed Tchaikovsky's Concerto in D Major for a nationwide broadcast in 2013, garnering acclaim from Venezuelan critics. Internationally, he has soloed with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, notably at the inauguration of the EU-CELAC Summit. Mentored by luminaries like Williams Naranjo, Benjamin Schmid,Ivry Gitlis, Alexander Markov and Maxim Vengerov, he currently serves as a substitute violinist in the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Flemish Opera Ballet, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège. Ismael is poised to release his debut recording and plays a Lorenzo and Tomaso Carcassi violin from 1769.
