Born from the sweat-soaked floors of San Francisco's iconic 1015 Folsom, where Ismael first commanded crowds as a resident DJ, this Bay Area visionary earned serious underground respect—marked as "the most underrated DJ" by Christopher Lawrence in DJMag, invited for guest mixes on Rush Hour, selected as one of John Fleming's favorite openers for multiple sets, and featured as a guest DJ on Global Trance Grooves. After an artistic hiatus that wasn't an ending—it was an evolution—he has returned with a renewed mission. Now, as IIZRA, he's crafting melodic progressive techno and trance that doesn't just move bodies, it moves souls, channeling years of musical exploration into a hypnotic fusion of driving basslines and ethereal melodies designed to transport listeners from intimate club moments to festival main stages.
