Ru (Jay Walton Jr.) Lyricist, Rapper, Storyteller, Songwriter, Producer Extraordinaire. Although he is new to the rap world he is no newbie to the rap scene. Ru has been writing and rapping since the age of 15. Growing up with a DJ father, music has been a part of his life. Ru grew up listening to everything from Motown, Rap, Rock, Jazz and more. He knew that music was his passion, he continued to rap, write and perfect his craft. As he continued to write, & rap, he also started to help other musicians by producing their music and mentoring them. This was a great opportunity to learn the other side of the business. Ru appreciated the challenge, while enjoying fatherhood and marriage. Born and raised in Lancaster City Pa- Pa being the home of legendary rappers such as Meek Mill, Beanie Segal, Black Thought, Questlove, and Mac Miller, just to name a few. He is East Coast all day every day. Ru's music will speak for itself. The motto that he follows is If Not me Then Who?
