Jackson Haynes is a 22 year old from Burlington Ontario who is an honours graduate of Humber's Bachelor of Music program majoring in drums. He plays a variety of genres such as R&B, Funk and Indie, but his main focus is Jazz. He has been playing the drums for 19 years, being brought up in a musical family and always being around music and drums growing up. He is now starting to establish himself as a musician, arranger and composer in the Greater Toronto Area. So far throughout his journey, he has had the chance to play with the great minds of the late Guido Basso, Randy Brecker, and Ingrid Jensen to name a few. While gaining inspiration from Bill Stewart, Billy Drummond, Walter Smith III and Kurt Rosenwinkel amongst others, he is starting to establish his own voice as a musician in the jazz scene.
