Walla walla, Pengilly

509DarkLight is an American rapper and genre-bending storyteller blending the raw intensity of NF and Eminem with the emotional grit of Jelly Roll. Born from the heartbreak, chaos, and rebuild of a life split between the rural Midwest and the 509 roots of Walla Walla, 509DarkLight uses music as a weapon — turning trauma, betrayal, resilience, and redemption into cinematic soundscapes. His sound mixes shadow-heavy atmospheres, neon-lit tension, rock-influenced hooks, and emotionally charged rap that hits like a confession and a battle cry at the same time. Raised around hard lessons, real struggle, family responsibility, and starting over after being broken down, 509DarkLight writes for anyone who’s been betrayed, lied to, abandoned, or forced to rebuild from nothing.
