Jamie Meagan is a writer, composer, producer and multi instrumentalist based in Dublin Ireland. Jamie has been writing and playing music with bands sine the late 1980s
He first played with a band called “Puppy Love Bomb” touring pubs, clubs and festivals throughout Ireland and England. Simuetainously Jamie was studying Audio Engineering in Dublin and was working as a tape operator and assistant in various clubs.
In 1993 Jamie emigrated to the U.S.A / San Francisco. There he met Paula Frazer from the band Tarnation and joined them as their Bass player predominately, also played guitar backing vocals organ and lap steel.
Tarnation toured regularly on the West coast and North America before singing a record deal with Warner Reprise in the U.S and 4AD in Europe.
Tarnation supported bands like Nick cave and the Bad Seeds. Tindersticks. Mark Eitzel and Cornershop.
Tarnation played many prestigious venues around Europe and America. The Royal Albert Hall. The Rex theatre. The 100th Club.
