Jan is an aspiring composer, arranger and violinist from Poland currently studying at Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Having started as a classical violinist, from the very beginning he fell in love with jazz and cinematic music. His jazz education began at the age of 15, with International Summer Jazz Academy in Cracow, where he has been learning from the great musicians such as Michael Parkinson, Adam Makowicz or Dominik Wania for 3 years every summer. Meanwhile, he got acquainted with arranging by writing for bands in his secondary school and music school. In his work, Jan wants to communicate that music is not only the art of sound - it has the power to take us to a new world, no matter if it is the world of our dreams or our emotions. Using his beloved jazz, cinematic and classical worlds he wants to speak through his music in the way that everyone can understand and take his listeners to as many beautiful places as possible.
