Jerry Hernandez-Zabala was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina in February 12, 1955. He was partially raised at Puerto Rico when he was 4 years old until he was 11 with his Puerto Rican mother, Nydia Raquel Zabala Sevilla. From 11 to 15 he lived with his Cuban father, Ginio Hernandez at Spring Lake, N.C.
Jerry is a Chrisitan Music Minister that enjoys all music Styles, although, he has preferences for Salsa, Merengue and bolero styles. He first learned playing Guitar at 11 years old. Being a left handed he forced himself and practice every day until he completly learned how to play the guitar right handed. Around the age of 21 years old, a brother in Christ taught him how to play the bass guitar.
