Future bass & trap producer Jonas Wilms aka Jey Cordz, started producing his first few instrumental songs in April 2020. Before the production journey started, Jonas was the lead guitarist in a band, played a number of gigs, and was really into metal & rock music. After finding his true passion in music production he started to get serious with his career. With only previous experience playing guitar, he learned the basics of production by teaching himself, watching YouTube tutorials, and experimenting with different techniques. At the beginning of 2021 he met Jay Bird from the Birdhouse, a community to empower artists and teach other producers what they need to know to improve their skills. With a determined mindset and lots of motivation, Jonas signed in for the Mentorship with Jay Bird and they have worked together since.
