Joe Pettis is a current stand-up comic and former senior class vice president (CCHS 2001). After graduating college with a degree in American Literature, he stopped reading books to pursue a career in comedy. He has since toured all over North America. In 2023, he recorded his first comedy special, Live at the 40 Watt Club. Joe's television appearances include Adult Swim's Daytime Fighting League and Discovery's Six Degrees with Mike Rowe. He has made numerous appearances on Doug Loves Movies - and has lost every time. Joe has performed at over 30 festivals, including the Nashville Comedy Fest, Laughing Skull Comedy Fest, Charleston Comedy Fest, SweetWater 420 Fest, Southern Fried Gaming Expo, and more. Joe is the founder of 1UP Comedy and produces over 100 shows every year throughout Georgia. Rolling Stone listed his shows among the "5 Cool Things to Discover in Atlanta."
