I discovered house music around 1993, the Tampa club scene was exploding and I was there for most of the early stuff. I was DJing hole-in-the-wall clubs at first, then on to some nicer places with better sound systems. I embraced the progressive grooves coming out of the UK much earlier than my contemporaries who were still fascinated with break beats. If I forced you to listen to 4-on-the-floor and other new music in those days, sorry, not sorry. It was good for you, they all playing it now. Pioneer? Not really.
