Jordan Nimz is a singer/songwriter/producer from the Toronto area. A newcomer to the indie pop scene, his confessional, poetic songwriting and lush production reflect his avant-garde musical tastes and studied artistry. Nimz’s musical journey began at the age of 6 with classical piano lessons, setting the stage for a diverse musical upbringing. His first taste of pop music came with Katy Perry's debut album One Of The Boys. Inspired by the infectious hooks of Perry's work, he began to explore the world of pop music, paving the way for his own distinctive sound. Further pop influences on his work include the theatrical shapeshifting of Lady Gaga and the experimental soundscapes of Allie X. Eager to further hone his skills and delve into the technical aspects of music production, he pursued higher education at the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology. His time there expanded his technical expertise, serving as a key moment in shaping his identity as an artist.
