A beautiful marriage between acoustic and electronic worlds in the hands of a solo artist who explores deep and inspiring sounds through musically emotional landscapes. Da Rocha starts his solo career recording: These are a few of my favorite songs (cover songs from Radiohead, Massive Attack, Björk among others) and To drop and let go, with his own compositions. Both albums were recorded only with two instruments: double bass and voice. And what a wealth of possibilities the combination of double bass, loop station and celestial vocals produces! Jorge’s one-man-cosmos creates magical moments and seduces the listener in the discovery of new soundscapes and songs that show the artist's own universe, his feelings and emotions, his experiences and the dedication to permanent personal and artistic search. Jorge is in a continuous process of developing his passionate expressiveness in composing and lyrics, exploring sound and production with different instruments.
