Josh Aitken is a self proclaimed lounge lizard. Part time musician, full time loser. He writes in a variety of genres usually fixed in a traditionally 70’s arrangement. Soft rock is a word that gets thrown around these days and it is a word that Josh Aitken has picked up and pinned on himself. Even under the weight of this strenuous title, he manages to find the time to indulge in different endeavours, briefly getting stuck into “cool jazz”. Having released a debut EP in the midst of 2020 (Such Stuff As Dreams Are Made On), Josh Aitken has released two more singles and even a feel good Christmas track with his flatmates which was featured on BBC Radio Scotland. With such a variety of tunes and stories maintaining a coherent vibe and feel, the only question to ask is: Who is Josh Aitken and when will he strike next?
