I am Josh Spinner, a local artist in Chicago. This is my song Desert of My Mind! Desert of My Mind is about my struggles with seasonal depression and anxiety. I wanted to make a song to assure people that everything will be okay. Depression and anxiety to me felt like a desert. Deserts are isolated, vast, dry, hot in the day, but cold at night, constantly moving but staying in place. That is why I named this song Desert of My Mind because I wanted to capture exactly what I was feeling and transfer it to the listener.more
