Junya is a young, innovative, independent and talented South African artist. He started making music at the age of 13 with his friends and by 18 after years of experimenting had found his sound. A mix of live sounding drums, heart touching melodies paired with smooth vocals and lyrics about romance's, nostalgia and hopefulness automatically made him stand out from the rest. He continues to break the norms of SA music, push the boundaries between genres and pave the way for more innovation with every release.
