A '90s baby raised on '80s new wave and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake—Justine fumbled through classical music on the piano, experimented with alto sax, and didn't pick up a guitar until after her quarter-life crisis. From Vietnamese songs to the Grease movie soundtrack, she's been singing before she could form meaningful memories. With a musical journey as windy (and inveigling) as the Sea-to-Sky highway she frequented growing up, one thing has always been certain—Justine is a storyteller—through poetry, performance, and song. However people may seek to categorize or define her, she'll always be a unrepentant, wannabe rockstar at heart.
