J Valerix (alias Valerio Guercio) was born on September 19th, 1999, in Cefalù, but lives in Palermo. When he was 10 years old he acknowledged the figure of the DJ, and wished to approach the art of mixing. He decided to buy a small controller to understand the basics of DJing. The first name he chose was "Dee Jay Valerix" but he believed "Dee Jay" to be too mainstream, so he shortened it into "J". The highest realization in Valerio's work was when he saw an online advertising of FL Studio, the most popular music production software. He used it for 2 years but he faced some basic difficulties, because he still didn't have enough musical skills to become a producer. Therefore, at the age of 15 he started to play the piano, improving melodies and chords. Then, he decided to transfer his newfound experience into his works and the result was completely different...
