Born in Cincinnati Ohio and raised in recording studios and live music venues, Kristen has been singing and performing since...well forever. She released her first 45 on Fraternity Records at age 6 in 1984 with a novelty country single called "Head Over Heels." Moving to NYC for college at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, gave her the vocal chops and New York tenacity it takes to pound the pavement, tour fresh out of school, and stand solo with her guitar performing original compositions. She toured with Blues/Soul/Indie Artists, creating a name for herself as a session singer, as well as being the sole songwriter of her original band The Perfect Children. Not only is she a musician, but a published author of a book series called Rocktails: An Amped Up Spin on Mixology, honoring musicians through music history and the art of a good cocktail.
