Kandy Roar was born out of a necessity to feel empowered and brave. The character of Kandy Roar has become so powerful and strong they have started to run the show. Born on October 24th 2021, Kandy Roar is still brand new to this world. They are heavily inspired by blues legends Koko Taylor and Robert Johnson, as well as moved and born from the glam rock uprising in the early 70s brought to light by Marc Bolan, with an affinity for David Bowie, and an admiration for the performance style of Elvis Presley. One look and you can definitely see aesthetic plays a major aspect of their performances, pulled from the mullet of Rod Stewart, and the Kandy pastel glamour of Jem and the Hologram. Kandy gets down and dirty and delivers a high emotional intensity with a story and a smile.
