kemmanuel (stylized with a lower-case k) is a British-Trinidadian 17-year-old artist, songwriter, producer and dj from London, England. His main influences are Travis Scott, KAYTRANADA, and Nicki Minaj. He fell in love with rap and pop music at the age of six after his cousin introduced him to Nicki Minaj, a native Trinidadian rapper, and became obsessed almost instantly with her animated flow. He often incorporates elements of house, maximalist/hyper pop, electronic and UK garage into his music, and tries to stray away from the typical trap beat. He also credits Travis Scott's music as one of the main reasons he began to start creating music seriously and prolifically in 2016 after Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight was on repeat throughout the year.
