Oklahoma-born Matt Kemp, influenced by his DJ father, fell in love with music early, mastering the guitar by 10 and writing songs soon after. Despite hurdles, he excelled in school, earning music degrees, and now thrives as an audio producer at RK1 Studios. Kemp's a key figure in local music, leading the Oklahoma Blues Society and teaching at the Academy of Contemporary Music. He founded Kempmusik LLC in 2021 and early critics call his latest effort, the album called Punky Bluester VS The Magnificent Creature, "a refreshing gust of artistic freedom". and "odd, but it's fine." kempmusik.com is the only place to get it for now.
