Kenny Staruk grew up in New England and went on to spend many years in the mountains of Colorado.
He now resides happily in Florida with his wife.
His music is drawn mostly from life experiences. It’s generally fun, thoughtful and evocative with hints of blues and melancholia.
Kenny picked up his first guitar at 12 and has enjoyed playing and singing ever since.
Donovan, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchel,Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Savoy Brown, Chicago, and The Moody Blues are some of his favorite musicians and bands.
Kenny is just now starting to release his music to the public. He plans to continue releasing songs.
Kenny’s not real young any more (although he thinks he is) so he’s writing and recording as fast as he can. Whew!
He maintains that one of the most important things he’s learned is:
Time flies like an arrow and fruit flies like bananas.
