My name is Kiley, and my stage name is kileypet. I have played music for much of my life, starting with classical violin at age seven. I also did a little fiddling, and when I was eleven I won 2nd place in a county fair fiddling contest. I was awarded a $10 gift certificate to a music store, and decided to put that money towards a guitar. I lackadaisically taught myself chords and also let the guitar collect a lot of dust over the years. I loved listening to music growing up and spent much of my alone time singing to myself. Through that, I eventually developed a decent voice. I stepped up with learning guitar a few years ago and wrote my first original song in August 2019. Since then I have written a handful of songs and have become very passionate about songwriting. Now, I play guitar and sing every day, take little performance opportunities, and write often! I am excited to continue my growth as a musician and share my songs with the world!
