On New Year's of 2018, Kitsune dropped his first project, ZERO, a nine-track demo tape-recorded in a closet (and yeah, it shows). Once it dropped he was hooked, releasing an additional four mixtapes (with vastly better sound quality) by the end of the year, forming a small but tight fan base that continues to grow.
After hibernating for the winter, he returned in May, publishing a new single every month for four months, soon followed by a new mixtape a year since his last. Then, to celebrate the longest night of the year and cap off 2019, Kitsune released Void, an experimental, hour-long journey through the empty parts of Kitsune's soul.
Enter 2020. Faced with COVID-19 and everything that comes with it, Kitsune used the freedom and isolation that quarantine brings to create a new mixtape, Social Distancing. Later that year, he released another mixtape, Scratching the Surface, a project that he's been working on for almost two years.
