Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina Kendall Ramseur began his musical journey as a pianist at the age of seven and was introduced to the cello when he turned ten. Kendall earned his Bachelor of Music in 2009 from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). He studied cello under the instruction of Dr. Brooks Whitehouse. Upon graduating from UNCSA, Kendall matriculated to Boston Universities College of Fine Arts (BU), where he earned his Master of Music in Cello Performance with Marc Johnson, a member of the Vermeer String Quartet. As a soloist, Mr. Ramseur recently released his debut solo cello album Selah, in 2020 followed by his first single titled Noël, in preparation for the holiday season. His music offers listeners a level of solace during these challenging times. Kendall was awarded the Gospel/Inspirational Artist of the Year from the Boston Music Awards.
