Kyra began her musical career professionally as a DJ, although she enjoyed playing guitar, banjo, and writing songs in her down time. As one of the strongest up-and-coming female DJ's on the WestCoast, Kyra was playing huge show internationally, but keeping her singer/songwriter side to herself. It was an outlet for the darker parts of this human experience, whereas her DJ sets are known for getting the party going with classic, funky and upbeat tunes that put a modern day spin on your timeless favorites. Hailing from a musical family rooted with classical musicians by trade on one side, the rock n roll legend, Jerry Joseph, on the other.. creating music came naturally to her and surprised the acoustic focused family when she began DJing. The long awaited release of her original music is something not only her DJ fan base is eagerly awaiting, but also to be featuring her Uncle's drummer, Steve Drizos, laying down drums on the track... Makes this a long awaited family affair.
