Born into a music loving family in Bogota, Colombia, in 1993, surrounded by Latin American melodies, traditional music from other African and Arab cultures, flamenco, soul, reggae, pop, rock, jazz, funk and more, Lau Gomez finds her passion in music, dance and poetry, becoming an adventurous singer, composer and ethnomusicologist, discovering the rich artistic culture of diverse backgrounds. She began her first steps since her 4 years with the Nueva Cultura Foundation, continuing her music studies in Bogota and her Master in ethnomusicology and anthropology of dance in France, where she currently resides. In love with travel and multiculturalism, she had the opportunity to sing and collaborate with the associations Comal, Oud a Nantes (France), artists like La Sociedad del Telescopio, Trio Melisma (Colombia) Ernesto Wendy (Chile/France), Euclides Cabral (Portugal/Sao Tomé y Principe)the musicians of Abajo Band (Ghana), and with his current Duo TerrAlegria alongside Mano D-Day
