Born Dylan William Mason, October 28th in 2003. Home-grown Vancouver Island resident, and proud Canadian, linqsikks is the result of a lifetime's interest in all things rap. Largely inspired by the OG's, but formed by majority as a result of exposure to the Canadian Underground Hip-Hop scene. Often vocal about the integral influence of artists such as the legendary Buck 65, Sixtoo, and Victoria's own Moka Only, among others. Writing raps was the first love, but production became a quick second. At times, he may even admit to preferring the "majesticism" of the sampling and production process alternatively. Self-conscious as one can get, linqsikks also refuses to release anything he believes his idols wouldn't nod in approval of. This often results in an extended hiatus between albums, and limited releases.
