I am singer-songwriter. I started singing when I was an adolescent and taught myself to play piano. I wrote my first song about being heartbroken when I was in high school and my music continues to circle around themes of loss, sadness, disappointment and personal experiences that have impacted me deeply. During the pandemic, I taught myself to play guitar and have been writing songs with this new instrument over the past couple of years. Music enables me to express my most difficult emotions and is a healing and cathartic process for me.
