Heaven Bound Trio, formerly known as The Rock Quartet, is a mixed, Southern Gospel group whose mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus. The group was formed on easter Sunday of 2019. We pray that lives are changed and souls are saved. Three members of Rock Springs Baptist Church, (Larry Jones, Meghan Jones, Jacob Mullinax and Shellie Marthers), in Blacksburg, South Carolina decided that we should start a music ministry where we can share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, with intention of lost people coming to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. After looking at Psalm 95:1 KJV, “O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation,” we decided the name of the group should be “The Rock Quartet.” Each member of the quartet believed that Jesus is the Rock of our Salvation; Therefore, our salvation is solid, our salvation is firm, and our salvation is strong and unbreakable.
