Longhairedjoe is a 18 year old South Jersey based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Opting to record in a basement, Longhairedjoe is able to truly create a sonically unique feel to his tracks, especially throughout his debut album, Unfinished Basement, which showcases a collection of songs that isn't shy to include multiple genres. With indie rock and punk roots, the album allows both genres to exist separately while providing space for a blend of the two, falling somewhere in the alternative category. At the end of 2020, Longhairedjoe released What I Want, a simple bedroom pop tune that deviated from the style established in his debut album. Once Evil Woods dropped in February 2021, it was clear that this project would not stick to a consistent sound, always aiming to provide a different experience with each song. Expect songs ranging from hyperpop to plugg to punk and even to synthpop in the future!
