Ryan Schiff AKA Lou Pine started playing guitar at age 13 in Long Island, New York. He credits the movie “La Bamba” as his original inspiration for wanting to pick up a guitar, and since then, Richie Valens is still one of his all-time favorites. Ryan performed with several bands in high school, college and beyond, touring the US with his band Code Anchor as lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter until leaving that band and moving to Los Angeles in 2009. In November 2014 he released his first full-length album “Teapot Dome Scandal” as Lou Pine. In 2017, Lou Pine signed to Sony/ATV publishing arm Extreme/Hype Music, and in 2021 he released his self-titled full-length album. He has performed live up and down the west coast with his trio and his songs can be heard on tv, film and commercials such as Netflix’s “Queer Eye,” Sony/Crackle TV’s “The Oath,” Amazon Prime’s “Absentia” and many more.
