Following a "serious and classical" education in organ and piano and a degree in musicology, Luca Ballauri has performed across various Italian festivals and concert series, both as a solo recitalist and as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental ensembles.
He has collaborated with the editorial departments of the Rai Symphony Orchestra and the Teatro Regio in Turin, and his essays have been published by Rai-Eri.
Over time, he embraced a "semi-serious" evolution, venturing into composition and exploring jazz and improvisational experimentation. He currently collaborates with a diverse range of jazz (and non-jazz) musicians.
His latest album, MY PERSONALITIES, was released in March 2026.
By morning, for the past twenty years, he has served as a Professor of Humanities and Literature within the Italian public school system.
