Percussionist, songwriter and instrument maker Luiz Perillo started his music career playing in a marching band in the countryside of Brazil. He started to play with bands professionally when moving to Amsterdam. He performed with many Brazilian singers like Lilian Vieira and Ana Beck, as well as the saxophonist Ghasem Batamuntu and legendary percussion band Treme Terra. In 2025 he released his debut EP 'Nascer do Dia' and in 2026 his album 'A LUZ ATRÁ DA COLINA'.
