LXi LO is a Toronto-based artist with dynamic, RnB-influenced vocals and electro, genre-bending production. Her sound is sculpted from the array of genres her family raised her on: disco, old school rock, RnB, and house music. She’s mixed this upbringing with her own love for dubstep, techno, and deep house to produce tracks that are wildly genre-bending. LXI B has always been fascinated by sounds. As a kid, she was chatty and loud and insisted on mimicking every weird noise from the world around her. At first, she couldn’t even carry a note, but LXI B had this unstoppable draw to music. She became a singer and producer through years of practice, self-teaching, and having patience. Find LXI B’s sound somewhere between the sombre but menacing Billie Elish vocals, the bass heavy sound of Sevdeliza, and the avant-garde songwriting of FKA Twigs. “I love that I’m not cookie cutter, I’m goofy, wonderful, and perfectly in process.”
