Madjin Bea (formerly know as djin.) is a self taught future beats producer hailing from Uganda who is part of the In Good Company family. Formerly based in Toronto and New York, Madjin Bea started out experimenting with beats in college in 2012, then in 2014 made the leap to music production. He is a highly traveled individual and, having lived in so many nations across the globe, his sound has been built from a multitude of influences such as baile funk, classical, jazz, afro beats, club, RnB, motown, soul, and house. This child of the 90’s loves to experiment with melding contradicting vibes usually culminating in a soft wavy melody paired with intricate percussion and distorted 808’s. Of late, Madjin Bea has been experimenting and playing with his sound, progressing towards his own flavour of afro, future and electronic music. Aside from production, Madjin Bea also has a mix series called Mixed Drinks where he features the music he listens to and the occasional unreleased track.
