MJoy is a justice-driven, queer indie pop singer-songwriter whose music channels her journey of healing, self-reflection, and personal growth into vibrant, high-frequency songs that fuse witty, confessional lyricism with catchy rhythmic melodies, funky guitar and bass lines, lofi synth textures, and layered harmonies, drawing from influences like Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani, and Billie Eilish to craft a sound that is both tender and rebellious, playful yet deeply intentional; her music creates an empowering, safe space for those shedding old versions of themselves, navigating recovery, seeking justice, or feeling let down by the system—listeners who value self-development, spiritual principles, and the interconnectedness of humanity—so that they can feel seen, embrace both joy and grief, draw boundaries, and step into their worth with heart, humor, and a renewed sense of collective possibility.
