Makai Colvin is a songwriter from the purple and pink desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Growing up in such an enchanting landscape gave her a passion for writing about the importance of nature and conservation in her music. Makai's dream is to paint a sonic universe that depicts and draws the listener into her life experiences of love, simple pleasures, and the questions she has about the world around her. She is inspired by a mix of electronic and acoustic songwriters from Sylvan Esso, Tracy Chapman, Mitski, and Bon Iver. Thank you for listening !
