markes beats is a german music producer who started his musical journey in elementary school, taking guitar lessons and later playing in various school related bands. From an early age marcus (nicknamed "markes") discovered the possibilities of expressing creatively, leading to him spending most of his time drawing, filming, taking photos or doing sports like skateboarding. It wasn't until 2019 that he started making music on his own, trying to get out of a rut while recovering from an injury that forced him to stop skating. First solely focusing on lofi Hip-Hop beats, the wide variety of his musical taste slowly started translating into his music. His musical style is mostly influenced by Boom-Bap, Chillhop, Neo-Psychedelic Music, Bedroom Pop, Vapor Soul and Trap records. While working on music remotely with people from all around the world, markes beats is also part of the producer collective called "Bedroomproducers Paderborn", organizing events and collaborating with local artists.
