Marv and Frank were founded in Forst at the end of 2008. Christoph "Marv" Dunkel and Ronny "Frank" Heinze, who have been "best friends" for more than 30 years, have been performing in the emo grunge band "Reckless Solution" since 2002. After the breakup, the two dudes saw the opportunity to continue writing music in an acoustic project and to quickly bring it on fire. Very naive recordings and gigs could be realized much more quickly and were also much easier and more primitive to accomplish This shit really do the trick. The boys' style is difficult to describe, but folk and grunge can definitely be found in Marv and Frank's music. The music of the 2 Homies makes you think and is afflicted with a heavy melancholy. They played many gigs in their hometown, Poland and Saxony. From the Irish pub, funeral and wedding to your own living room and charity gala...Marv and Frank were there. The two guys display an infantile lightness and are always keen to perform.
